Then Ashen is for you...
You can pick up Ashen from CD Keys pretty cheap https://www.cdkeys.com/pc/ashen-pc-steam
Ashen is a 3rd person, skill-based action RPG
set in an open world, Where tactical fighting is a MUST.
I must admit that the first time I played Ashen, I wasn't convinced.
The game seemed a bit slow paced, with clunky controls, relentless enemies and plenty of deaths. Lots and lots of frustration, this can be VERY frustrating to play.
So why are we recommending Ashen?
It pays off to stick with it, once you have completed a few quest you can soon upgrade your weapons and stats, and then the world of Ashen really opens up to you!
It takes a minute to really get to grips with the play style, but it is really worth it.
You can play this game Co-op (highly recommend this) or single player with a supporting NPC.
Co-op Mode
The Co-op mode in Ashen isn't setup the same as you would probably expect. When you enter safe areas you effectively disconnect from each other but quickly regroup as soon as you leave the safe zone. As long as you are in the same location on the map then you're fine.
To set up co-op you need to go to the in game menu, System - Multiplayer
and then select - Use Multiplayer Filter
Choose your own Filter Code (make sure both players have the same code)
Disable AI Companion.
Then you're good to go!
